1am, im at that point of ALMOST asleep. youve all been there. 1 more min and your pretty much dead to the world. Then I hear a noise that I KNOW came from inside the house and downstairs. Damn puppies....wait there outside. Boo is layin next to me with his ears perked up. Yep...GAME ON!!! Woke mel so If all went wrong she could call lol.

Im headin down stairs with nothin but boxers on and my trustee burglar defence tool. Some call it a shotgun. Upstairs clear....stairway...clear. Make my way through the living room and hear it again. Im now cocked and waitin.

Had to take a half sec to figure out how to clear bathroom, laundry front room with the long ass boomstick. Screw it, went straight to front room as doors were closed. kicked on the led flashlight that lit the room nicley. Clear. Mother Fin FERRET. That is all. LOL

Theives, Cant killem...... wait, why not?

What is the matter with people these days? I get it, I understand that everybody is in hard times now and in self preservation mode. You'd think that there would be some sort of code though. Why would someone break into a suburban with a military police sticker on the back. Car seats in side and steal. Radio, I can somewhat understand. Somewhat.... Upon futher investigation the only things that we can tell that are missing are 2 things. A IPOD adapter thing, and my sons fishing pole. They went through the entire suburban. Left all the quarters ect... Rifled through all the compartments and only stole those 2 things.

I just cant understand why people would do such a thing. I still kind of thought we were in a decent neighborhood. However this is the 3rd or 4th time in less then 2 years.  When you find yourself in a decent neighborhood with somewhat cheap housing. You MAY want to rethink it.  Where we live theres somthing like 50K+ in this little area. The majority of them are all renters. Me included. However with that also comes a lower standard. People have no self respect. No care in the world. Trash the area and just flat out couldnt care less.

Personally, im on a mission. Do what I need to do so within 5 years, I am paying a mortage instead of rent. That gives me PLENTY of time to do several things. Repair credit where needed. Save MORE for a down payment. Find that PERFECT spot to raise a family of 6. Good schools, neighbors, decent jobs. Preferbly in a decent state. LOL Need to find that perfect spot to plant roots.

Any Ideas??

Whatever happened to decent neighbors??

Remember when you could let kids play till dark and have no worry in the world as to what could happen to them? That was the time of good neighbors.  Im not old enough to remember most of it however I do know that in smaller towns like where we used to live it was this way.  Good neighbors! Some one would ask for help and without hesitation help was there. People were thankfull! Community BBQs.  Having aa beer while watching the kids play. Etc... Well.... where we are now theres none of that and if I hadnt seen it first hand in Kansas then Id think that it was a mirage here in the desert.

Here in Santan Valley its a little different. Nobody really cares. You may get the ocasional wave but thats about it.  You dont dare let your kids go play outside by therselves.  People are either wierd or hermits. Even that is weird LOL.  I guess my family is just used to community envolvement, Pride. Self respect and respect for others.

We helped one of our neighbors. Just trying to do the right thing. They were having a tough time. Wont get into critical details however everybody has there ups and downs. Including us.  We helped them in MANY different ways. Most all requested by them. Bought there daughter clothes for school. Spent like $60 on some jeans for her. Given them rides when needed. Helped loan them money.  Now, the single father has a girlfriend. They have done a 180 and treat us like crap. told us not to talk to them anymore. They dont have time for us. He hasnt paid us back. They rarely said thank you.  Hes about to now lose his job. Hes already lost his car. (repo) and they treat us this way. Just flat out used us for what they needed and moved on to mooch off of someone else.  We love there daughter very much. Shes basicly a part of our family.  (as you know, our family consist of myself, my wife, our 4 children).  We always offer to take them both with us when we go somewhere so there not just at home doing nothing.  Weve fed them. Gave them a place to stay when needed.  And all this gets tossed in the trash. Ive never felt so disrespected.

This area of Arizona is FILLED with people like this.  Flat rude and inpolite people. Put it this way,  if your kid fell off there bike in the road. In Kansas, They would bail out of there car to help your child out. Get them back on there feet. Back on the bike and help them get started if need be.  Most people knew each other there.  They would usually make sure they made it home. Or at the min., they would call the house. NOT HERE! They would honk, swerve. Roll down the window and scream and them to get out of the way. They have someplace to go. Get frakin real!!! Common cursety is out the window here.

Dont get me wrong, we have some decent neighbors every now and then. They are just few and far between.

MMMM Where to move to next. Washington?, Oregon?, Utah?   Only time will tell.

Phoenix Coyotes...

I have always been a fan of the "Root for the home team" motto. My wife and I don't agree on teams usually. She likes the 49ers. Now I don't hate them but Cardinals are home team. And I like them. LOL Hockey is split like so.... Wife, Penguins.... Me, Coyotes.  It kills me that they may leave AZ. I love having a home NHL Hockey team.  I don't know near the info as a lot of others out there do.  However.... People say that they don't have much of a fan base. How can you when about the only place you can find Coyotes hats or jerseys etc.... is either craigslist or ebay. May get lucky at a goodwill or a garage sale. I walked into a sport store at the mall the other day searching for a new hat. (Story of old hat is PRE blog time lol) I searched and searched. Even had my wife helping me. Know how many Coyotes things we found?? ONE hat that was kiddie size on clearance. I asked why they don't have anything more and the managers exact words were "They SUCK". He didn't even have enough pride in a home team to sell a key chain of them not to mention NOTHING else. How are the Coyotes supposed to have a fan base when fans try to find something they cant. People don't sell it. How can you NOT sell something that is HOME TEAM!!!???!!!???  Personally I think its flat ridiculous. There are so many cities out there that would LOVE to have a NHL team. Or, NFL, MLB etc.... PHX takes it for granted and doesn't care.

DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR HOME TEAM!!!!!! Should say TEAMS. Hard to come by AZ rattlers as well. But that's a different story. I really hope they stay here in the PHX area.  Instead of spending $50-$100 on a night out. Go to a game. Enjoy the culture that is also known as HOCKEY!!! Win or lose, DON'T BE A FAIR WEATHER FAN!!!

STAY COYOTES!!!!!!!!!!

First Post...

Everyday here in the Animal House is a adventure.  From potty training humor to the would be simple trip to the store.  You just never know when something will happen.  It never fails... Each day there is either something funny or something that really irks me.
